We need each other in these times!
I really didn’t feel happy to leave 2025 behind. In 2025 I returned wholeheartedly to my spiritual journey, which is now part of my creative journey.
I often feel anger and hopelessness because of current world situations. This year i hope to transform these emotions through my creative work (collage and painting) and to do what I can from my corner of the world, to help towards the greater good. To weave my personal thread into the huge tapestry, to add to the replenishing and strengthening of loving energies and to help to mend and restore all the loss and the sooth all the heartache which is being caused in the world.
To be more present and work on my empathy skills, because some people just seem to be cruel at heart and it is so hard to understand them and where they are coming from.
But I won’t let that dishearten me any longer.
I continue to believe in the power of art and creativity in all forms as a transformative tool for us humans. (As well as the power of cats!)
Reasons I create Art
1. Because it helps me to feel free
2. It’s fun.
3. It can be as magical as i want it to be
4. It can brighten up someone’s day
5. It can be alchemical, healing and soothing in times of anxiety, fear, sadness, depression, illness.
6. I can learn about myself and what I’m capable of and also what needs more practice
7. Anything can be made into art and anyone can be part of it. It’s a universal subject, which can bring us all together in understanding and acceptance of all of our different stories.
I offer courage to us all in 2026, to travel peacefully through rainbow waters!
